Playing around in Photoshop and trying to get back into 2D for a change of pace:

Drawing from scratch (yep, all in my head).
Layer with line drawing over a background layer created with lighting effects.
I find later on that I like creating a canvas the Seegmiller way.

New layer: Colored in skin tones using paintbrush and smudge tools.
Slight use of dodge and burn tools, but not as much as in my earlier work.
Best thing about a Seegmiller canvas is that I know where I'm missing some paint!

New layer: Hair! Ooh, la la! I know it's cartoonish, but that's my style.
I like using the various options in the paintbrush tool, like multiply and screen.
That's because I'm too lazy to manually select other colors and hues for variation.

New layer: Nightie, or whatever. I'm not too happy with it.
At this point, I stopped because I had other things to do.
I need hints on how to color the rest because I suck at choosing colors.
